But the event wasn’t limited to these two; Resident Evil Re: Verse also managed to secure its spot in the event. Resident Evil Re: Verse will get early access before its official launch, starting on 23rd October at 7 pm PT and will end on 25th October at 11 pm PT.
For those who don’t know, Resident Evil Re: Verse is a multiplayer add-on for Resident Evil Village. It is a two-to-six-player third-person shooter allowing players to play as one of the characters from all across the Resident Evil universe. At launch, you’ll be able to play as Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, and HUNK. However, Capcom has promised to keep the Resident Evil Re: Verse updated with multiple post-launch updates. A roadmap for the game was also shared at the live event. From the looks of it, it looks and feels like the zombie survival mode of Call of Duty games, except the matches in the game will be short five minutes death matches, unlike the extended rounds you experience in Call of Duty. Resident Evil Re: Verse will also get a battle pass in post-launch updates that will help the devs to add more characters and modes to the online co-op. Re:Verse’s first post-launch update will add another survivor, a new map, eight costumes, a challenge mission, and 30 more levels to its battle pass. Resident Evil Re: Verse will be released globally on 28th October alongside the Winter’s Expansion for Resident Evil Village. The players who own Resident Evil Village or Resident Evil Village Gold Edition can access the add-on for free. Are you excited to experience it with your friends?
